Nokia
Nokia is a Finnish company based in Espoo. Its roots can be traced back to the distant 1865 when Fredrik Idestam founded a pulp mill factory near Tampere, Finland. The company ventured into different industries and businesses, including forestry, cable, rubber, and electronics. Nokia's first mobile phone came out in 1982 and was a car system called Mobira Senator. The company developed the first GSM network in collaboration with Siemens, and the first GSM call was made in 1991 using Nokia equipment. Nokia launched the first commercially available GSM phone in 1992 - the Nokia 1011. In 1998

 Nokia became a major player on the smartphone market due to the success of fashion-oriented models like the Nokia 5110 and 3210, which featured colorful interchangeable back panels. The company produced many iconic phone designs and, in the 2000s, enjoyed the leading spot in the smartphone market with its Symbian operating system and a wide range of premium business-oriented models.
