  • Facebook version 3.1 for the iPhone allows push notifications. This certainly makes the application even better, since until now you had to constantly restart the program in order to check for updates and comments. Version 3.03 that introduces minor fixes will roll out before the newest edition 3.1. (source: TechCrunch)


  • Microsoft says parts of the personal data that was wiped out from the Sidekick handsets of many customers will be restored soon. The team of the company working on the problem states Sidekick owners will have their phone contacts back by the end of this week, while pictures, notes and less important data will be restored later on.   • The yet to be announced LG GR700 has passed FCC. The XML file that we have already told you about shows the device will be equipped with keyboard and WQVGA resolution screen. FCC has now revealed the LG GR700 will support AT&T´s 3G bands (850 and 1900MHz). (source: FCC)


  • You can reject incoming calls by closing the slider of the Palm Pre. This is possible through installation of the unofficial patch that is available here. (source: Pre Central)
