Walmart has some great Father's Day deals on Apple devices

Every retailer is offering Father's Day deals. The holiday takes place this year on Sunday, June 16th, which means that you don't have much time remaining to find a good gift for your dad. If your pop is into the Apple ecosystem, Walmart is the place (via Popular Mechanics) where you will find deals on the Apple iPad, iPad Pro, and the Apple Watch. Let your siblings show up to dinner with a boring tie. Imagine the look on your father's face when he rips open the gift wrapping and finds one (or more) of the following devices in the box.

Here's a deal that we've seen elsewhere, but it still is a goodie. The Wi-Fi only 64GB Apple iPad (2018) is on sale for $249. This is an $80.99 savings from the usual price of $329. The tablet features a 9.7-inch LCD display with a 1536 x 2048 resolution and is powered by an A10 Fusion chipset (same as the one that powers the iPhone 7). There is an 8MP rear camera and a 1.2MP front-facing FaceTime camera. Color options are Silver, Gold and Space Gray. The slate supports the first-generation Apple Pencil and you can pick up an official Apple Smart Case from Amazon for half off ($19.50).

If your dad needs more power from a tablet, you might want to consider getting him the Wi-Fi only 64GB Apple iPad Pro (2017). This is not the latest model, so it still has Touch ID and the thicker bezels. But it is on sale for $474, a savings of $175 or 27% from Walmart's regular price of $649. Besides sporting a larger 10.5-inch LCD display with a 1668 x 2224 resolution, the tablet has the A10X Fusion chip under the hood. There is a 12MP camera on the back and a 7MP FaceTime camera in front. Color options are Gold, Rose Gold, Silver and Space Gray.

If you want your dad to monitor his heart rate constantly, Walmart has deals on the Apple Watch Series 3 GPS model (38mm) and the Apple Watch Series 3 GPS + Cellular model (42mm). The latter version can make and receive phone calls even if your dad accidentally leaves his iPhone at home, and is available in White for $329. That is $80 or 20% off Walmart's regular price of $409. The former doesn't connect to a cellular network and is available in Black/Space Gray or White for $199. The retailer usually asks $279 for this timepiece, which means that you can save $80 or 29%. Both models are equipped with a heart rate monitor that has saved quite a few lives.

If your dad isn't a fan of the Apple ecosystem, but you are, there is no law that says you can't take advantage of these deals for yourself.
