My Personal Opinion About RayNeo Air 3s Pro

The RayNeo Air 3s Pro basically feel like that one gadget you don’t expect much from, but the moment you try them, you’re like “okay, this is actually legit.” The brightness is the first thing that hits you — 1200 nits makes a huge difference, especially if you’ve used dimmer XR glasses before. Movies and games look clean, the clarity is solid, and the whole plug-and-play setup makes it stupidly convenient. For simple portable entertainment, they deliver exactly what you want without overcomplicating anything.

But here’s the part people gloss over: the fit won’t be perfect for everyone, the nose pads can get annoying, and the audio “Spatial” mode is honestly useless — stick to standard or use earbuds. And since there’s no screen anchoring or advanced XR magic, you basically treat them like a floating monitor. Even with those flaws, at this price, they’re easy to recommend if your goal is just a bright, crisp, private screen you can take anywhere. They’re not life-changing tech, but they’re definitely worth it for the right expectations.

As someone who has tried a lot of the RayNeo series of AR specs, I confirm that mileage will vary vastly, depending on what you want to get out of them.

As a portable monitor, they are great, but not in every setting. Honestly, as I've said in my reviews - "AR" doesn't really fit them as a term, at least not yet. To me, the term must be used through a notable amount of spatial features, anchoring prime among them.

But they are a solid choice for the price, if the feature set works for you.
