This LG G Pro 2 Magic Focus promo video may be the cutest smartphone ad you've seen lately
Expected to be released internationally starting later this month, LG’s G Pro 2 can already be purchased in South Korea. Naturally, LG is heavily promoting the new G Pro.

One of the handset’s selling points is its 13MP rear camera with OIS+. This camera has a Magic Focus feature that allows you to refocus a photo after you snapped it. Of course, a similar feature is already available on Nokia’s Windows Phone Lumias (it’s called Nokia Refocus), but it’s nice to see it on other handsets.

To let Korean customers know about Magic Focus, LG created an ad that presents the feature in a cute and simple way, showing a young lady casually photographing her white dog. This new ad - embedded below - is definitely more appropriate to promote a smartphone than the creepy G Flex ad released earlier this month by LG Benelux.

We demoed the Magic Focus feature on a G Pro 2 at MWC 2014 last month. For more about this new and very large smartphone, you can check out our LG G Pro 2 review.

They make it up for that horrid LG G Flex commercial lol

Captain here (for the words at the end):
"The World becomes a pro"
"The Camera becomes a pro"
flies away...

No the caption says

"세상의 프로가 되다" which translates to "became a pro of the world"
to
"카메라의 포로가 되다" which means "became a pro of cameras"

by applying the word [someone] at the beginning of each caption, it would make sense in English but in Korean leaving out the word "someone" makes sense (in advertising) and is more powerful.

I dunno. Looks kind of creepy. Looks too much like a stuffed animal or CG.

Hopefully it's not one of those cruelly altered species of dog at those illegal puppy mills.

Great! Even a 13MP cam on G Pro2 still greater than those with 16MP.

Will there ever be a software update for the G2 which implements such a feature?
