Yesterday, an image of the Windows 10 Mobile powered Alcatel Idol 4 Pro leaked. Today, we have a good look at the specs of the phone thanks to a benchmark test of the handset which was run through GFXBench. The Idol 4 Pro will sport a 6-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 820 SoC with a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU.

While the benchmark test shows 2GB of RAM, we believe that the Pro will probably contain 3GB or 4GB of the sweet stuff. 64GB of native storage is inside, according to GFXBench, and a 20MP camera adorns the back of the unit. A 9MP selfie shooter graces the front of the handset. Windows 10 Mobile is pre-installed.

The Alcatel Idol 4 Pro will reportedly launch with support for Continuum. This allows the user to employ the Microsoft Display Dock to hook the handset up to a monitor, QWERTY keyboard and mouse. This essentially turns the phone into a desktop computer. Pricing and availability is unknown at the moment, but T-Mobile is expected to offer the device in the U.S.

2GB RAM? I find that a bottleneck lol. I feel like the pro 4 will be only used solely for the 20MP camera. Would have been awesome if 3GB and a android m build to handle the 820s versatility.

If you dont know, GFX bencj only reads available RAM to the app other than used by OS! It will probably have 4 GB! Remember, Lumia 950 showed 1.5 GB ram in benchmarks!

Something is messed up here, the idol 4s has Sd652 and QHD and the idol 4 pro has Sd820 and FHD.
Just look at this.https://gfxbench.com/compare.jsp?benchmark=gfx40&did1=30874074&os1=Windows&api1=dx&hwtype1=GPU&hwname1=Qualcomm+Adreno+530&D2=Alcatel+6070+Idol+4s
No way the adreno 530 gets those scores vs the adreno 510 GFX must have the specs wrong for the idol 4 pro. Even the offscreen score is messed up.

Those scores are hella wrong, must be not running at their full potential. T-Rex off screen can easily get max frames lol

Nice! Windows Phone certainly has some beasts being released for its platform lately. Couple this with the fact that Windows 10 OS for mobile is now being released for older Windows Phone models, and what we have here is the beginning of some pretty good momentum for the Windows platform.
