Weekly deals roundup: Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy S26 Ultra, and more epic new discounts
Three of the greatest Android phones around are on sale at some of their best ever discounts, and that's just the appetizer in this week's menu of top mobile tech deals.

You really can't argue with the Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra's value propositions right now.
What's the best way to celebrate this week's iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro, and iPhone 18 Pro Max announcements? How about getting one of their greatest alternatives at a significantly lower price than usual?
That's definitely one of my favorite things about Apple's glamorous product launch events, which are very often followed by extraordinary deals on top Android phones, Android tablets, and smartwatches compatible with both iPhones and Android handsets.
Today is clearly no exception (quite on the contrary), and while some of the stellar mobile tech deals I've carefully selected and rounded up for you this week might have nothing to do with Apple or Apple stuff, many are undoubtedly connected one way or another.
The three best deals available today are simply astounding
I know you see hyperbolic language associated with deals and discounts all the time, but trust me when I tell you that the latest Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and S26 Ultra promotions are truly something special.
I almost can't think of a fitting description for the Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra's combined discounts of $700 (!) and $750 (!!!), respectively, and while I'm sure you've all seen the Galaxy S26 Ultra marked down by even more than $250 once or twice in recent months, it's definitely not everyday that a massive price cut like that is bundled with a $300-worth freebie.
It's certainly also worth pointing out that these three happen to be the best Android phones money can buy right now (and not just in my view), and with these unprecedented new deals, their value equations clearly beat the bang for buck delivered by the brand-new iPhone 18 Pro, 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Duo (which are obviously unlikely to ever receive such deep discounts or ultra-valuable gifts).
These seven other smartphone offers shouldn't be ignored either
I'm going to be perfectly honest with you: I expected better Pixel 11 series deals to crop up by now. But for the time being, Amazon's $63 to $83 discounts will have to do for hardcore Google fans who feel their hearts might explode if they wait a few more weeks for potentially deeper price cuts.
Deeper price cuts, of course, are unlikely to ever arrive for devices like last year's Razr Plus and Razr Ultra, which I'm honestly surprised haven't been discontinued yet. Finally, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy S26 FE may well become even more attractive down the line, but that's also unlikely to happen very soon.
At least some of these hot new tablet offers are impossible to turn down
And I'm mainly looking at the cheapest devices in this category, which could well perish in the very near future. Yes, both sub-$100 phones and sub-$100 tablets are reportedly on the verge of going extinct, unlike mid-range or high-end Galaxy Tabs, of course.
The Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE Plus would be extremely compelling at their latest discounts... if Lenovo's cheaper tablets didn't exist, while the premium Tab S11 is made to look especially attractive by the impending arrival of a boring and overpriced Tab S12 duo that doesn't even include a new "vanilla" model.
My number one recommendation on this list? Without a doubt the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, which is almost too affordable to be true after a hefty $150 discount just a few months on the heels of its US commercial debut.
This week's top smartwatch deals will make you forget about the Apple Watch Series 12
Yes, I strongly believe that last year's Apple Watch Series 11 is a smarter 2026 buy than its just-unveiled sequel. But what if you're an Android phone user?
Not to worry, as Samsung has reacted to this week's Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 launches impressively quickly with unprecedented and very hard-to-beat Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 promotions.
And if you don't like to be locked to one OS or the other, the Android and iOS-compatible Garmin Vivoactive 5 and Venu 3S just so happen to be cheaper than ever before as well with killer designs, excellent health monitoring tools, and even better battery endurance scores.
