Verizon hits back at T-Mobile with free Apple Watches, AirPods, TVs, and more holiday offers
If you were planning to buy a new iPhone, Samsung, Google, or Motorola handset this holiday season, you might as well score a gratis smartwatch and wireless earbuds with your smartphone purchase at Big Red.
And just in case the idea of getting unlimited high-speed data, talk, and text (including in Mexico and Canada), as well as 10 gigs of mobile hotspot a month, satellite texting, and Verizon Dollars for only $30 and up didn't sound appealing enough, Big Red is now offering a bunch of killer device deals exclusively for new and existing Simplicity users.
Here's everything you can get for free starting today
Google Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Buds 2a with Pixel 11 Pro XL purchase and a new line on a $7.50 a month watch plan;
Moto Watch Ultra and Moto Buds 2 Plus with Motorola Razr Plus (2026) purchase and a new line on a $7.50 a month watch plan.
To be perfectly clear, the ultra-high-end phones listed above aren't available for free from Verizon... unless you're willing to sign up for a much costlier plan than Simplicity and give up the opportunity to nab those popular smartwatches and earbuds at no charge (after monthly installments and taxes).

That means these holiday promotions are not direct rivals for what T-Mobile unveiled a couple of days ago, but in a key way (or two), you're actually looking at better and simpler deals at Big Red. That's because you don't need "Picks" to qualify for a gratis Apple Watch SE 3 and AirPods 5, for instance, and you also don't have to trade anything in or port in your existing number from a different carrier... unless you want to.

Your handset purchase, by the way, will need to be made on a 36-month payment plan, which is definitely a little inconvenient... but at least it's not 48 months.
But wait, there's more
More free stuff to be had at Verizon starting today, November 5, and all you have to do is sign up for a "select" Fios, Frontier, or 5G Home Internet plan. If you were planning on doing that anyway this holiday shopping season, you can now look forward to getting not just two free months of service but either a 43-inch Samsung TV and a Soundbar or $200 towards gift cards at Target, Macy's, Nordstrom, HomeGoods, and Sephora.

What do you think about Verizon's new holiday deals?
That seems to me like a very easy choice to make (even though there are no details on the TV and Soundbar models or their retail value), but of course, you're totally free to decide for yourselves what you'd rather get for free from Verizon right now.
And even more
To wrap things up with a nice bow, Verizon is also preparing a number of interesting daily "drops" and some very exciting contests for the loyalty-rewarding Shine program.
Among others, you'll be able to win an "exclusive culinary getaway" and a cooking class with celebrity chef Alex Guarnaschelli, a VIP visit to Universal Orlando Resort, and a "luxury getaway" to the NHL All-Star Weekend in December... if you're incredibly lucky.
Meanwhile, charging cables, grocery store gift cards, "premium" candles, AMC BOGO movie tickets, and wellness gift cards will be given away from November 30 to the end of the year without any strings attached or much effort on the part of allVerizon subscribers, which sounds an awful lot like what the T-Mobile Tuesdays program was all about... back in the day.
