Nokia Lumia 1820, Samsung Galaxy S5 mini and Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom confirmed by case maker
Because case manufacturers need their products to snugly fit a phone or tablet, these companies are often fed information about an upcoming handset well before the device is unveiled. And that can lead to a treasure trove of information about unannounced models. For example, French case manufacturer Noreve has let the cat out of the bag for three devices, the Nokia Lumia 1820, the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini and the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom.

All three have been the subject of previous speculation. Rumored to be Nokia's biggest launch ever, the Nokia Lumia 1820 is a flagship device with its 5.2 inch screen, 2K resolution, and a quad-core Snapdragon 805 CPU under the hood. The phone will feature 3GB of RAM with 32GB of native storage and a 3400mAh battery.  A Lytro-type camera will be on the back, which means that the focal point of pictures can be changed after they are snapped, and a Xenon flash is included. Not bad, right?

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom is expected to offer a 4.8 inch screen and a 20MP snapper. The camera-centric phone will be driven by a quad-core 1.6GHz CPU and will offer 2GB of RAM with Android 4.4.2 installed. This year's model should be more svelte than the unwieldy looking Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. As for the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini, not much is known.

Noreve has put up a registration page for each case. If you plan on buying any of the three models and will need a case, you might want to leave your email address so that you can be informed when the case maker will be accepting pre-orders for them. Don't get too excited as the case manufacturer obviously put up three place holders for now.
