Google Home and Home Mini launch in Ireland, Austria, and Spain
The Google Home and Home Mini smart speakers are now available for purchase in Ireland, Spain, and Austria, The Verge reports. The bigger model starts at €149 ($172.54), while the Mini sells for €59 ($68.32). Both are available on Google's online store in the respective territories.
There have been rumors doing the rounds lately that suggested Google's Home speakers would make their way to Spain in the near future, but Austria and Ireland were total surprises. Great surprises, though, that's for sure.
The Google Home and Home Mini are some of the best smart speakers you can buy right now. Even though Amazon still rules the smart speaker market with its Alexa virtual assistant, Google is gaining a firmer foothold as new Assistant-enabled speakers launch at affordable prices.
