HTC to hold July 11th event in India to introduce two handsets

On Friday, HTC is hosting an event in New Delhi. Expected to be introduced are the HTC One (E8) and the HTC Desire 616. The Former is a plastic version of the HTC One (M8) that replaces the Duo camera with a 13MP rear camera. Also, the IR blaster is not included on the device. 

The HTC Desire 616 features a 5 inch screen with resolution of 720 x 1280. An MT-6592 1.4GHz octa-core processor from MediaTek is powering the phone, which comes with an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 2MP front-facing shooter. There is 4GB of native storage on board, and a microSD slot for those needing additional storage. A 2000mAh cell keeps the power on, and there is support for dual SIM use.

The HTC One (E8) will get introduced as a high end model. while the HTC Desire 616 fits in a slot between the HTC Desire 516 and HTC Desire 816. Pricing and availability will surely be announced on Friday.
