Ever since Amazon announced this year's Prime Day sale would run for not just 24, 48, or even 72 hours, but a whopping 96 hours, it was easy to suspect that meant some of the best tech deals kicked off in the early stages of the event would be improved by the end of it.

Still, I never imagined the greatest foldable phone money can buy in the US would jump from an already impressive $500 discount to a staggering $610 slashed off its list price in a 512GB storage variant, followed by one of the best smartwatches around going no less than $230 below its regular price with standalone cellular connectivity.

Whether you love or hate (or think you can tolerate) the "cushion" design of the otherwise undeniably elegant Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, you should definitely consider claiming Amazon's improved Prime Day 2026 deal on Samsung's "bezelicious" timepiece to save no less than 230 bucks on a cellular-capable model in white (with an obligatory Amazon Prime membership).

The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic initially received a $150 Prime-exclusive discount with and without 4G LTE support, which already seemed like a pretty good summer deal for a top Apple Watch Series 11 alternative with Wear OS and a... somewhat divisive design.

That's still how much you can save through Samsung's official US website for all Galaxy Watch 8 Classic models, but Amazon appears to have just added a cool $80 to the $150 discount of the LTE-enabled variant in a white colorway.

Could we see an even better deal offered by the e-commerce giant before the Prime Day 2026 extravaganza wraps up on Friday, June 26? In theory, anything is possible, but in practice, I don't think that has a snowball's chance in hell of happening.
