Gold-colored Huawei Nexus 6P finally available in the States
It was back in September, when Google announced its duo of 2015 Nexus devices – the budget-conscious Nexus 5X and the all-metal, premium class Nexus 6P. The latter was available in three colors internationally — Aluminium, Graphite, and Frost — while a special Gold finish was initially only available in Japan.

If you've been feeling that gold fever, grinding your teeth in anticipation for the gilded variant of the Huawei-made Nexus, you will be happy to know that, starting today, you will be able to purchase it in the US. The special Gold Edition will be sold only in the Google Store and Best Buy.

The Nexus 6P features a 5.7-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560. A 64-bit Snapdragon 810 SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM sit under its hood, and a 3,450 mAh battery keeps the lights on. The device, naturally, runs the latest version of Google's Android operating system — Android 6 Marshmallow — and we are expecting it to keep getting timely updates by Google for quite some time. One of the Nexus line's most alluring selling points is the fact that they go through several major updates before Google calls them obsolete. The two 2015 Nexus handsets are also notable for being the first in the line to have fingerprint sensors, and the Nexus 6P is further distinguished as the first all-metal Google flagship.

The price of the new version will not differ from what the Nexus 6P was selling for thus far – the 32 GB model sits at $499.99, while the 64 GB one will set you back $549.99.
