"Early" LG G4 press render shows up, suggests the phone is slightly curved

LG already confirmed that it's getting ready to unveil a new flagship smartphone: the LG G4. The new handset could be officially announced in April or May, and, according to a previous report, it's going to be "radically" different from the G3.

Now, we can take a look at what's supposed to be an "early, non final" LG G4 press render (click on the image on the left to see it in full size). Posted on Twitter by @OnLeaks, the render allegedly shows the back of a black G4. It seems that the handset is slightly curved, while there's a noticeable bump around its camera. Overall, though, the rear of this alleged G4 doesn't look too different from the rear of the LG G3.

Reportedly, the G4 measures 148.9 x 76.5 x 9.9 mm, thus being a tad taller, wider, and thicker than the LG G3 (which measures 146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9 mm). That's interesting, because we heard that the G4 would sport a 5.3-inch display, instead of the 5.5-inch screen of the G3 - so it might offer a lower screen-to-body ratio.

The upcoming LG flagship smartphone should be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, and might feature a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button on its back.

It's said that LG is planning to sell at least 10 million G4 smartphones around the world.
