Apple iPad 5, iPad mini 2 release date leaks out
The release dates for new iPads, Macbook Pros and the futuristic Mac Pro have leaked out and it looks like Apple will be ready to fully overhaul its portfolio for the Holiday season. The new iPad 5 and iPad mini are said to launch on October 30th or 31st, around a week after the official unveiling, according to French site MacG.

Apple is said to hold a huge event on October 22nd where it will focus on iPads, but also touch on new Macbook Pros expected to finally get Haswell processors and hugely improved battery lifes, and on the new Mac Pro that Apple prematurely announced a few months ago.

The release dates for Apple’s new products are as follows:

  • New MacBook Pros on 24th or 25th October
  • iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 on 30th or 31st October
  • Mac Pro on 15th November

We already know quite a lot about the upcoming iPad 5. The tablet will adopt iPad mini like design with narrower side bezel, less curvy back and generally be more compact. It is expected to feature Apple’s Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

The second generation iPad mini is the biggest mystery. It seems that Apple is forced to introduce a “Retina” display iPad mini by the competition, but that could mean it getting a bit thicker and wider to sport a battery large enough to have it going for 10 hours. It’s interesting to see whether the iPad mini will feature the Touch ID sensor (as all sane logic would suggest).

Don't intervene, it is the annual Apple fan ritual you are observing here. This is where they pray to Jobs' spirit to grant them wishes even they know won't come true for several years (at which time the wishes of that time will be made and completed in the following decade). This is their tradition and custom and a part of evolution, you cannot make them take the leap forward to Android, they won't be able to handle the shock of getting what they want.

Maybe you should start praying too cause Android tablets suck.

Without a good app ecosystem you're basically customizing all day.

Well, large tablets suck. 7" tablets aren't bad in terms of app optimization. Not many apps are optimized for 10" tablets though.

I doubt you're getting more RAM in the iPad 5, but the iPad mini 2 will get a bump up to 1 GB. The iPad 5 will probably have an A7X chip, which will most likely consist of 2 Cyclone cores clocked at 1.3 GHz and the PowerVR G6630 along with 1 GB of RAM, which will definitely be a beast. The iPad mini 2 will basically be a larger iPhone 5S; A7 chip, 1 GB RAM, Retina display, definitely sufficient enough for practical use, but doesn't have the same beastly GPU as the iPad 5.

I thought bout gettin another window one but I was on the bus the other day and I saw this cute lil girl using one of those Mac things and she just looked like she was havin so much fun on it - praise Jesus!! I axed her what it was and she told me Macbook - at first sounded like she said Mac & Cheese so I told her "no darlin, I had my breakfast this mornin - thank you". But then she came correct and told me it was one of them Apple Macs. But I was just so amazed at what that child was doin on that thing - she was right-clickin and left-clicken and highlighten stuff and draggin stuff - she was a pretty little thing too. Anyway, I tried that new Window 8 - too many squares, makes me feel like Im starin at a jigsaw puzzle.

Apple products are specially designed for St**id people, you pay 4 or 5 times more for a macBook pro, the same specs (new intel CORE i7 CPU + New Graphic chipsets from AMD or Nvidia + ...) can be found in a mid range LapTop with windows 8.

to be frank, people buy Apple not for the quality, not for design, not for performance, etc (cause you buy this TAG : MADE IN CHINA not MADE IN USA!) .. they just buy it to show it to each other, they think they are buying class!
that's truth, accept it, and also accept it if you are an apple fan boy. you are Stupid about American dream.

and Also, Americans with powerful propaganda, better know how to keep the market towards Apple.

Crazy World.

but i am not Crazy, i am not Stupid.
