poll Google says Pixel 4 doesn't do 4K 60fps video since the files get huge, do you agree?

We knew from all the leaked Pixel 4 and 4 XL spec sheets that the phones won't support 4K video recording with the trendy 60fps definition that kind of defines "flagship" handsets, and when Google announced the new Pixels, it basically confirmed the speculation by listing only 4K 30fps in the camera app options.

poll What are you most interested to see at Apple's iPhone 11 Pro 'by innovation' event?

Not only will Apple be announcing an iPhone 11, Pro and Max, and launching them at the same time for the first time, but also new Watch and other surprises in the product department. The focus, however, may be as much on the new iPhones, as on launching of Apple's new TV+ and Arcade original content and gaming subscription streamers.

poll Did you get the decked-out Note 10+ or the compact Note 10?

The Galaxy Note 10 will be negligibly larger than the Galaxy S10 yet has a larger display, increasingly blurring the range of what's possible in "all-screen" designs. What's even better, this most humble for the screen diagonal footprint comes courtesy of a narrow body, in addition to the shaved-off top bezel, so the Note 10 is shaping up to be the perfect fit in your hand, as far as 6+ inchers go. It does, however, omit the microSD card slot that its larger sibling, the Note 10+, has in its hybrid SIM tray, has no 512GB version, and Samsung could have put a larger battery in there to make it last as much as Chinese juggernauts with 1080p panels like the P30 Pro. This is why we wanted to ask which of the two new Notes you picked up from your carrier - the souped-up Note 10+ or the novel compact entry in the Note line of S-Pen-laden Samsung handsets.

poll Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T throttle YouTube or Netflix all the time, does it matter?

A new research sheds light on the fact that US carriers are actually throttling streaming video services like Netflix, YouTube or Amazon Prime at all times, albeit in different ways. Last June, the FCC rolled back some throttling regulations for the chagrin of the net neutrality proponents, and yet limiting video streaming data speeds has been happening on US carriers well before that, the research showed.

poll The flagship killer vs the flagship: would you buy OnePlus 7 Pro or Samsung Galaxy Note 10+?

poll Would you buy a gaming phone?

So, what's a gamer phone? Three boxes need to be checked — top-tier, superpowered hardware; sleek, aggressive design; a big and beautiful display. But you know what? Add "nice camera" and "good battery" to the mix and you get the general wishlist for a good flagship smartphone in general, not just a gaming handset.

poll Would you be disappointed if Apple really kills 3D Touch?

Now that iOS 13 beta is here, we definitely see evidence that 3D Touch might be going the way of the dodo. There are a ton more ways to interact with the text cursor and the long press gesture is being further refine to simulate the 3D Touch feeling. Apple calls it Haptic Touch, basically because the vibration motor gives you a haptic "click" when the long press is successful. But in honesty, it doesn't — and we are not sure if it can — feel as fancy as pressing in a 3D Touch icon.

Albeit top-of-the-line in the A-series, The A90 is said to still command a comparatively affordable sub-$700 price when sized up with the $1300 Galaxy S10 5G. LG is reportedly also toying around with the introduction of a cheaper 5G-capable handset, perhaps even in the G-series, that will have a much lower price tag than the V50 ThinQ.

Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile's plan prices are globally high, and 5G is not to blame

There are different perks involved with each Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile carrier plan, and if you split the bill among four lines, the prices will be much lower but, overall, the US has one of the highest cell phone plan prices in the world, even against the fledgling 5G offerings. Hey, for the price of Verizon's most premium line, UK's EE sees its unlimited 4G/5G offering, and raises it a brand spanking new Galaxy S10 5G.

Dare to be square: remember the outcry when the first CAD-based image renders of the upcoming 2019 iPhone family hit the tape? What, a square camera area on the back, how's that for an abomination? That's how our comment section and poll respondents read on the design matter.
