Motorola releases new videos about the modular Moto Mods system
Motorola released a series of videos this afternoon that introduce the Moto Mods modular system. The Moto Mods add new features to the Motorola Moto Z handsets. Using the 16 integrated magnets on the back of the phone, the Moto Mods quickly connect to the back of the Moto Z units allowing the devices to gain new capabilities in an instant.

The current  Moto Mods options include the Insta-Share Projector which will project an image from your phone and blow it up to as large as 70-inches onto a screen or wall. The JBL SoundBoost speaker greatly increases the volume and fidelity of sound coming from your phone. It includes a kickstand to help you get the right angle while watching a video. When demonstrated at Tech World, you could really hear the difference between the regular speaker on the phone, and the amped up sound from SoundBoost. Lastly, the Incipio offGRID power pack will add up to 22-hours of additional battery life to your phone without requiring you to add bulk to your pocket.

You can also learn about the Moto Mods Developer Platform, which allows you to develop your own Moto Mods. Learn more about Moto Mods by clicking on the video slideshow below.
