wp8 is yet to be optimized for running on phones with low specs.....
you might have observed that all the latest low spec android phones usually come with android 2.3 instead of android 4 or 4.1, its the same thing with wp8

actually a lot of low spec android devices being released nowadays are running Android 4.0. A recent example on Sprint is the Kyocera Rise. Its got a meager 1ghz processor and 3.5 inch screen, but its running ICS.

actually, android 4.0 should be compared with windows 7.5, because they were released at the same time
windows phone 8 should be compared with android 4.1, in fact, wp8 is newer than android 4.1, galaxy nexus and nexus 7 have been running jb from many days and the first wp8 device is yet to be released

you are right.. but acctually a lot new devices are now with ICS and even JB on it!!!
i think 7.8 will be the gingerbread of Microsoft... coz gingerbread is still widely use!
i just wish the inclusion of microSD slot!

the devices that run android jb have better specs, most of the entry level android devices run android 2.3 and some devices run android 4.0
even the first wp8 device is yet to be released in the market, so making budget wp8 devices will take at least 6 months from now
th3 lumia 510 will not have any microSD slot because wp7.8 doesn't support it,that's the reason why the device comes with 4gb memory, which is actually pretty low because the os and the native apps will take some space, but you can't ask for more if its priced at $150

The good thing about android is you can get a phone cheap. The bad is the phones suck. Windows needs a cheap prepaid phone. Something to get people interested in windows phones.

I hope that they microSd card slot for expanding the memory in this phone, otherwise people will still prefer entry level androids, as they all come with expansion slot and more over software can be customized, though experience is very bad because those device laggg a lottttttt..........
