A teaser for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has surfaced, revealing that the phone will be unveiled on August 25th. Translated, the teaser reads "National full metal age," which would seem to indicate that the phone will be metal clad. The largest carrier in the world, China Mobile, is involved in the introduction of the phone and will undoubtedly be offering the device to its customers.

In addition to the teaser, a leaked retail box for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has surfaced. The box reveals several specs including the 5.5-inch screen. A MediaTek Helio X20 chipset will power the phone, carrying a 2GHz deca-core CPU. Also listed on the box is the rear-facing 13MP camera, and the front-facing 5MP camera that snaps selfies and handles video chats.

There are two versions of the phone. One has 2GB of RAM with 16GB of native storage. The other features 3GB of RAM paired with 64GB of native storage. The leaked box contains the latter variant. The Redmi Note 4 has a 4100mAh battery that keeps the lights on for some time. Not listed on the box (at least not in English) is the fingerprint scanner that sits under the rear-facing camera.

Once the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is unveiled next week, we should have more information on pricing and the availability of the device.
