New BlackBerry Stratus (Pearl2) is focus of video
From the SureType keyboard in the front, to the "Pearl" name imprinted above the battery cover, the new BlackBerry 9100 screams "Pearl2". but also is known by two other code names, the Striker and the Sratus. Whatever it is finally called, the 9100 is a much smaller device than, oh, say the Storm. The device in the video is running BlackBerry OS 5.0.0.350 and is equipped with a 3.2MP camera, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. The radio in the unit will work for AT&T in the States and Rogers up north and Salomondrin, the voice of the video, is looking for an April 2010 release. He also expects versions of the phone for T-Mobile and Verizon. Back to the handset, he also pointed out that the screen is not as sharp as the one found on the Storm, Tour or 9700. Still, everything is certainly a step-up from the original Pearl. Anyone penciling in a big "X" for next April?

I hate how they make the keypad on pearl. Its so slippery and very annoying and the new pearl's keypad looks exactly the same
