Latest iPad 2 leak writes off high-res display and SD card slot

The good news is that under the hood things remain just as expected – a dual-core A5 processor will be the beating heart of Apple's new tablet, backed up by 512MB of RAM and an upgraded GPU. At least one camera will be added to the iPad 2, probably on the front for FaceTime conversations, but a second one on the back with HD video capture capabilities will not be a surprise either, although you may look silly waving your tablet around to take shots.
It is speculated that a preview of iOS 5.0 will be displayed at the event along with its SDK for developers. We are also expecting words about Apple's cloud services as they still tend to be a bit unclear. Hang in there for another five days, until we finally get enlightened.

Unless the iPad engineering team have found a way to make the CPU to be happy with the 512 Mb of RAM. Then again, the 2nd gen iPad may ship with 1 Mb of RAM.... Anything can change until the products actually ship.

why not making it 100GB? I have two good resons
-with the current technology you wont be able to fit that on a phone
- why add so much ram if the processor is not going to use it anyways
now talking seriously do you know what ram is used for?
lemme give you an example that could be understandable
-your data program OS is 'sand'
-processor is a 'truck'
-ram is the road
now when you have a nice road and one truck you can move a certain amount of sand quite quickly depending on the truck speed, but now you have two trucks if the road is significantly small.... lets say 1 2/3 truck size you can still use both tucks to carry a load but wont be that efficient since the road doesn't have that enough space... yes both trucks can use the road and will be faster but cant go side on side witch in certain way is not that efficient....
no to give you another example I have a desktop and one of my favorite games (SUPER SMASH BROSS BRAWL) is in there now i used to have 2GB of ram and the performance was just a bit slower than the Wii. now for some reason one of my rams broke so i stood with one for a wile having a slow down on the performance from great to fair but I never changed the processor witch means this:
if you gonna increase the processor you must increase the ram in order to get a much better use of it... now
I don't say it because is the iPad i think Ive also say that for the Optimus 2X witch is also using dual core things should be increased one with the other to achieve better

I think apples best bet would to make a similar tablet like the xoom but without the bells and whistles.
No HDMI, SD card, no Micro USB or LTE. Making it a bit cheaper.
Anyways lets be honest who ever buys an iPad is usually too dumb to know what they even do.

Nope. Apple made the ipad to be a device in between the iphone and the macbook. They could care less about the xoom who just copied the ipad. Apple knows that their customers have money, and are smart enough to know that some tasks are better off using a laptop, some a smartphone, and some a tablet, some a desktop computer.

I want to buy a tablet, but am waiting to see what comes from both camps, none have in my opinion the right price to feature set compared to current laptops and netbooks. I hope apple will get flash on the this version, In any case I will not buy a tablet without flash support out of the box too much of the web still uses it, to be a right off. I am android fan but so far the ipad is the best tab in my opinion. I thank very soon the flood of Android tablets due to come out the right price vs feature set will be available, just not quit yet. I am holding out till this happens.

The only way Flash will make its way to the iPad is via jailbreaking or Steve passes into the great hereafter and the management team at Apple get a chance to recognize market realities. You have a better chance of seeing a 7 inch iPad with Retina display than you do of seeing Flash-enablement while Steve is on the Earth.

Evo4G= 3G/1GB on board/ ADR2.1
Thunderbolt= 4G/ 8GB on board/ ADR2.2 upgradeable to future OS's/ newest version of sense UI, more than just a EVO clone.
iPhone4= iOS the same as iPhone 3G/ 3G cappable/ no flash player/ almost everything is paid through Apple iTunes (suprise!) No options for expansion or recovery without Mac oc Apples paid software. the list goes on and on.
AUltimately if your a BB user you'll probably stick with BB. Apple with iPhone, but if youve ever tried a real Droid (I.E. x,855,955,956,ADR6300, and so on) you will understand why Droid is usually the best solution for everyone.
Or you could just keep sucking Apples ass....your choice. I wont call you a sheep but if the BAA fits.......

What suprises me is that even when the iPhone/iPad are lacking theses and is clearly not a good investment to make in, people STILL go wait in line to buy these things.

An increase in RAM, improved GPU, dual core A5 processor from a single core A4, front and rear cameras and a lighter weight, are SOMETHING.
Maybe what you should consider is, the ipad must be doing something great that people would actually form long lines for it. But I guess a hater's brain like yours look at things differently.

This is exactly my point, iPhone people ride this wave of "we are the best" when the facts dictate that the phone is missing tons of features, lacks customer service options, and is over priced. Yet, I dont claim any of them to be perfect, I would just like iPhone fans to show SOME common sense when in a debate about product relavance.

Its pretty much just like the last iPod touch update, camera with no flash, thinner, improved speakers, higher screen res., and a front facing camera.
If you ask me, just go out and get an iPod touch, unless you REALLY need that huge screen or you just want to impress your friends. Its cheaper, and more portable, plus theres more apps available.
BTW I'm not an apple fan, but the new Moto Xoom is cool, but way too overpriced Really? $600 3G w/ 2 yr. cntrct & $800 Full Retail? They need to lower prices to be fair competition.

The problem is the MARKET. The uneducated consumers dont know WHAT THEY want or need, they just know that they need to buy what is shown on TV and costs the most so they can use that to fufill their need to BRAG that they own whatever product it is at that point in time.
