Invitations have been sent out for an October 18th event at which the honor 6X will be unveiled. Specs for the phone have been released via a certification from TENAA. They include a 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. Driving the handset will be the Kirin 950 SoC, grown and harvested from the garden found in Huawei's back yard. 3GB of RAM will be inside along with 32GB of native storage.

A 12MP dual camera setup can be found on the back of the phone with a 2MP front-facing snapper for selfie shooters. Keeping the lights on is a 3340mAh battery. A fingerprint scanner will be found on the back of the unit, which should be priced in the area of $200 USD.

The invitations sent out reveal that the honor 6X will be unveiled on October 18th. That trumps the unveiling of the Oppo R9S, which is going to take place the very next day, October 19th. As far as pricing goes, we could see the honor 6X priced at the equivalent of $200 USD. And in case you're not familiar with honor, it is a sub brand belonging to Huawei.
