IFA chief wants the Galaxy Note 8 unveiled in Berlin

Speaking at a press conference in Lisbon, IFA Executive Director Jens Heithecker said Berlin's yearly electronics trade show (held in September) would be a better place for Samsung to unveil the Galaxy Note 8.

He's signaling that he wants Samsung to return to the tradeshow after the company began announcing its high-profile Note phones earlier, in August, and switched locations to New York. Between the first Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Note 4, Samsung held its announcements in Berlin, a day or two ahead of IFA.

Heithecker also said Samsung will have the biggest presentation at this year's tradeshow, although whether that's going to be the next Note or a bunch of new washing machines and smart TVs isn't clear right now.

Wherever it ends up announced, the Note 8 is shaping up as an oversized Galaxy S8 lookalike with the possibility of an under-glass fingerprint scanner and dual-camera setup. You can learn more about the successor to last year's most flammable phablet below.

Even thought very unlikely, I really hope sammy offers Exynos only. I heard that the crapdragon s8 has microstutters and worse battery life compared to the Exynos one.

@NoToFanboys well it's due to Samsung's crappy optimization and heavy bloat. Better run a stock Android and profit.

"Samsung's crappy optimization and heavy bloat."
Crappy optimization on the crapdragon version, yes.
From what I've seen, the Exynos version runs great.

I'm not the one crying lol... All these babies are... I could care less about what a reviewer says... Most are paid to find something wrong anyway... I'm good with my phone choices... I try them for myself and draw my own conclusion... Not jump on biased reviewers sac and agree with things that they haven't even tried or had in their hands... Sad bunch of jokers...

Good for you then.
I really don't know why the need to include me there despite not bashing the S8, I was bashing crapdragon if you read my comment properly.

Looks like you didn't read my response correctly... You got included when you personally called me out... I didn't mention the S8 in my response... Smh... What a joke

Looks like you're the joke here kid.

Your comprehension levels are a joke... Of course you didn't call me out in your first post... Why would you? Lol I responded because you commented on hearsay from biased reviews... That right there let's me know you're a joke, then you go on to say you didn't bash the s8 when you obviously did when you said "I heard that the crapdragon s8 has microstutters and worse battery life compared to the Exynos one." You can't remember the incoherent trash that you spew... So let's call it how it really is... A non-comprehending joke... Just keep it pushing bud... Smh

"You got included when you personally called me out."
I cannot emphasize this enough, that line contradicts with the way you included me with your first reply, and looks like I got you triggered real good LMAO
Pretty ironic how you talk about comprehension despite lacking any.
Anyways, thatnks for the entertainment kid.

You obviously don't know how a time line of events work.. Yes this has been entertaining to say the least... This doesn't have me triggered at all... Just something to pass the time by with kiddos like you lol

Yeah, same here. That seems to be how it is with all their devices. The SnapDragon variant is always half-assed. Not due to the chipset though, more likely due to Samsung being too lazy to optimize their software for it, as other devices with the same chipset or even older run circles around the S8 in performance.

The OnePlus 3/3T already did that, go look at speed tests and use some deductive reasoning...

To.any one who buys it.

The idiots who don't even buy it always have something to say.

Don't even respond to them.

They just fill of hit air. Let them pay $1000 for tech we had 3 years ago and still paid less for it.

They rather pay more for.it, and it does nothing any different.

They so.stupid. Let them be haters and stupid in their own small world.

Unique and best are two different concepts techie, I have no problem in admitting it to be one of the best, but you can't just force everyone to agree with you its the best
