Huawei MediaPad M2 is unveiled; 8-inch tablet hits France this month and other regions in June
The Huawei MediaPad M2 has been unveiled. This is the manufacturer's flagship tablet and is a follow up to last year's Huawei MediaPad M1. The slate is priced at the equivalent of $391 USD and will be available in France this month before its availability widens out to other countries next month.

The tablet is equipped with an 8-inch screen carrying a resolution of 1200 x 1920. A home grown 64-bit octa-core 2GHz Kirin 930 CPU drives the slate, which also features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage inside. A 32GB capacity microSD slot is available for those who need more memory. Back and front-facing cameras weigh in at 8MP and 2MP, respectively. A 4800mAh battery keeps the lights on and Android 5.0 is pre-installed. The slate offers support for 4G connectivity.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 is available in silver and measures 7.8mm thick. The tablet weighs 310 grams. We have a couple of pictures of the device which you can view by clicking on the slideshow below.
