HTCSense.com users urged to download data before service overhaul
HTCSense.com users are being informed of an overhaul that the service is about to undergo. What's more is that these users are being asked to download their stored data, such as contacts, messages, or call history, for it will be deleted after April 30, 2012. After that day, services that have been previously available on HTCSense.com will be inaccessible and all user data will be removed.

Here is what HTCSense.com users need to do in order to download their data:

      1. Visit the HTCSense web page
      2. Log in with your HTCSense.com username and password
      3. Click the 'Download' button in the Account Overview section
      4. A .zip file containing your data will download to your computer for easy viewing

Should you require additional assistance, do not hesitate to contact HTC customer service.

What will the service look after the overhaul is still a mystery, yet it might have something to do with the Dropbox integration that HTC Android smartphones are bound to get. But until we know for sure, HTC smartphone owners will have to rely on third-party backup services, many of which can be downloaded from the Google Play store.
