First “real life” pictures of Verizon Nokia Lumia 822 emerge
Hot on the heels of passing along some of the features and specifications of the Nokia Lumia 822 bound for Verizon, a few pictures of a powered up device have made their way to whet our appetite.

The pics show a device donning a soft-touch looking cover on the back and heavily rounded corners and edges. In one of the pictures, the device is running Windows Phone 8, build 9900. We still do not know if that is what will be on the final release.

As the device has not been officially announced yet, it is not known when it will be available to buy, but it would probably have a different launch date from the HTC 8X which is also expected to make its debut on Big Red.

How do these pictures look to you? Does the 822 have what you want to see on Verizon in the Windows Phone offering?

Why stop there? Go straight to Android and be done with it.

who argued with that?? But this is a replacement for the 820, not the 920..

Better than nothing. If the 920 remains AT&T exclusive then this may be one of the best options

i like the look of T-Mobile's 810 better but i'm almost always a fan of more angular designs. with this Verizon can have a angular looking device in the form of the 8X and this to cover roundness.

I don't understand why the manufacturers put up with Verizon's demands for exclusive (yet boring) designs. This looks nothing like the rest of the Lumia range, it looks like the HTC Droid Eris/Incredible series. Part of what appealed to me about the Nokia Lumiae is that they DON'T look like every other phone out there.

wow on other smart phone review sites most people gave this smart phones looks a thumbs down. I wont do that until I see this smart phone in person. do not condemn all Verizon people if you do not like this smart phone the person or persons who picked this Nokia smart phone design is the blame and will get the wrath of the president of the Verizon network if they do not sell very well. pray for them.
