Another analyst shop tips bezel-less 5" and 5.8" iPhone 8 models
There is a lot of speculation about next year's iPhone 8 lately, mainly because the tenth anniversary iPhone edition is said to sport a groundbreaking "all-glass" design that will be fitting larger displays in the current iPhone 7 and 7 Plus footprint. That same concept is similar to the one rumored for the Galaxy S8 models as well - curved 5.7" and 6.2" panels wrapped around the sides, and with home buttons embedded in the display in order to achieve 90% screen-to-body ratio.

Where there is smoke, there is fire, and we indeed had the reputed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo tip not long ago that the iPhone 8 Plus, or whatever it gets called, will sport a 5.8" AMOLED display. Now, Barclays analysts have recently issued a memo to clients after a research trip to Apple suppliers in Asia, which corroborates the enlarged iPhone 8 screen speculation.

Funny enough, the 5.8-incher that will allegedly fit in the current 5.5" frame, is supposed to be the one that comes with the rumored AMOLED display, while the alleged 5-incher is said to come with an LCD screen. How will the eventual 5" iPhone 8 fit in something close to the current frame size of the 7, remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure - 2017 is shaping up to be the year of radical redesigns to die for, at least on paper.
