Huge 'Black Friday in July' discount makes the OnePlus 9 Pro more affordable than ever
Powered by a (slowly) aging Snapdragon 888 processor and equipped with a 4,500mAh battery capable of 65W charging speeds, last year's OnePlus 9 Pro might not seem like one of the best phones you can buy in 2022.

But in many ways, this bad boy is still the all-around best OnePlus phone out there, having earned much better reviews back in 2021 than this year's 10 Pro powerhouse and acing the grueling durability test its sequel failed so poorly. While the OnePlus 10 Pro is technically available at a lower starting price compared to the 9 Pro, the older flagship is unsurprisingly on sale at a huge "Black Friday in July" discount.

OnePlus 9 Pro

We're talking about a completely unprecedented 370 bucks slashed off an arguably excessive $1,069.99 list price by Best Buy for a limited time in both Pine Green and Morning Mist hues. Although basically the same exact deal is currently available from Amazon and the official OnePlus US e-store as well, Best Buy is the only place where you can get either color option at a new all-time low price of $699.99.

Upfront carrier activation is not needed to maximize your savings, mind you, and in fact, if you do want to choose your mobile network operator right off the bat, you're looking at spending the full $1,069.99, which is... pretty absurd.

Of course, Amazon could theoretically still roll out a better Prime Day 2022 deal as early as tomorrow, July 12, but if you're not a member or simply don't think you'll be able to save more than $370 with no special conditions or strings attached anytime soon, you should strongly consider pulling the trigger ASAP.

At seven Benjamins, the OnePlus 9 Pro's bang for buck is quite difficult to rival, let alone outshine, with the 6.7-incher's list of features including a gorgeous Fluid AMOLED display sporting a resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate technology, as well as a 48MP primary shooter backed by an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor and 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera on the handset's rear, and of course, Android 12 software with OxygenOS goodies sprinkled on top and at least two additional OS updates all but guaranteed to come in due time.

On top of everything, your 700 bucks will buy you a more than generous 12 gigs of RAM paired with an equally hefty 256GB internal storage space. There's simply no downside to this killer deal.
