Wi-Fi calling part of new update for HTC Amaze 4G
A breakdown of the new software update coming to the HTC Amaze 4G shows that T-Mobile is adding a new feature called IMS Wi-Fi calling. The update beings Android 2.3.4 software version 1.43.531.3 to the phone and also includes Google Music. Fixes include improved Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity and a repair to the clock widget which was not updating time zones, and improvements to the Twitter and Peep apps.

The update will rollout through January 20th, so if you don't have it on your Amaze 4G yet, don't panic. To see if your phone has the new update, go to Menu > About Phone > HTC software updates and then follow the prompts. Wi-Fi calling has been discussed by the carrier for more than a year, but finally we are happy to say that it has arrived.
