Xiaomi Mi 6 looks very slick in purported prototype pic

Xiaomi has been pretty busy these past few months, having launched a slew of powerful new smartphones including the laudable monstrosity that is the Mi MIX. Back in September, the China-headquartered firm rolled out the Mi 5s and 5s Plus as a follow-up to the Mi 5 flagship. Since, Xiaomi has been asking fans what they'd like to see included with the Mi 6, which will be rolled out at some point in the new year. Now, an alleged prototype render of said device has been spotted in Weibo.

As you can see above (click to enlarge), it's a stylish-looking finish with little speakable bezel on the longer sides. It looks a bit like an iPhone with a Samsung home button, but then again, few handsets stand out as particularly unique in today's mobile arena. The current Mi 5 features a curved back plate which could return with the Mi 6, and under close scrutiny, this leaked image appears to indicate such a finish.

Aside from the design, the leak doesn't arrive with any further information. Given what we've seen from Xiaomi's recent exports, it's fairly safe to assume that it will be packed to the gills on the specs front, with plenty of RAM and a beefy Snapdragon processor.

As more details arrive, we'll have them covered, so stay tuned!
