Admit it, owners of Verizon's BlackBerry Storm 9530, you were jealous after reading about the leaked OS upgrade for the Vodafone version of the first touchscreen BlackBerry. But you don't have to be green any longer as a leak of the same OS version was discovered for the 9530. And again, as we always tell you, there is risk involved when you download software on your phone that does not have the stamp of approval from your carrier. The new OS is version 4.7.0.109 while the last official Verizon upgrade was version 4.7.0.75. Early reports indicate that the phone is running faster with the new OS, but the camera remains sluggish. The QWERTY keyboard in portrait mode remains. When will the next official firmware upgrade appear? Recently we reported sources saying that a Verizon approved upgrade could occur at the end of March. With so much time between now and then, we could see many more leaked releases before an official upgrade hits the Storm.

Be careful with these updates guys......Ive had four people come in this week alone that have dead units due to installing leaked ROMs. I forgot the error code that they had on their screens, but each one admitted to loaded the ROMs and each one had the same error codes.
