Themes for your BlackBerry now available at App World, or create one of your own
BlackBerry App World is now offering a number of different themes for your 'Berry smartphone. From the icons to the homescreen and menus, when you change the theme on your handset you change all of these and more. Starting yesterday, App World started ofering a number of different themes for BlackBerry handsets. Some are free and some require purchase. Besides browsing the choices on your phone, you can also visit App World on your desktop PC.  If you want to make your own theme, you can do so by downloading the BlackBerry Theme Studio V5.0, which is free and can be downloaded by clicking on this link. If you start playing around with the Studio and you start to think to yourself, "Hey, I can do this! I should be getting paid for offering different themes," well then, who is stopping you? Go over to the sourcelink to read how to get your themes listed on App World for purchase. You will need to register as a BlackBerry App World developer, and make sure you have the rights to the images, sound and content on your themes. And as Steve Tyler would say, "Theme on".

That's awesome that they're making it easier for people to create their own. Yes, the market would get saturated faster, but I'd love to be able to make my own theme for my poor little flip phone or to be able to change the icons on the iPhone.
