Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro finally releasing
If you were beginning to wonder if the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro was real you certainly weren’t alone but now the business minded Android device appears to be finally set for its worldwide release.

This latest Android smartphone from Sony Ericsson earns the “pro” moniker thanks to its sliding QWERTY keyboard. The device features a 3-7-inch display and is powered by a single-core 1GHz Snapdragon processor. On the back of the smartphone is an 8.1 megapixel camera with an Exmor R camera sensor that can also record video in 720p HD. Around the front of the device is a 2 megapixel shooter. While it will not necessarily blow anybody’s socks off in terms of specs (although its camera may be quite impressive), the Xperia Pro does offer a lot of features that will surely grab the attention of a businessperson.

Pre-loaded on the device are Office Suite Pro and Mc Afee Mobile Security. Tie that in with an e-mail friendly QWERTY keyboard and support for MS Exchange, as well as many other e-mail clients, what you end up with is a solid business-oriented Android device. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro is available now and is offered as an unlocked device. Is anybody going to consider picking up the Xperia Pro?

Too late. As much as I love having qwerty slide out keyboard android phones, the overall specs are just too outdated.

Indeed. When this first got annouced, it was only slightly "behind" top-tier specs, imo. But now, it's all too close to the lowest-tier of smartphones.

You must want to just start something since you're copying and pasting the same lame comment on every story

I'll be selling my Desire Z for one of these. And then I'll sell the Pro for an XT860 when the finally become available unlocked. I'm done with HTC phones.

well if the price is competitive, which it really should be, I think it is worth considering. specs aren't everything in such a device, and SE proved they can make great overall package.
