President gets to keep his BlackBerry
We recently reported that President Obama would have to go cold turkey to end his BlackBerry addiction because the device was not secure enough for those Top Secret calls. But Obama showed that his ability to compromise is good as he apparantly worked out a deal with the NSA to use the RIM device for personal use. When he is wearing his Presidential hat and communications need to be secure, the President will use the Selectra Edge, a device that we previously called a chunky relative to the Treo 750. To refresh your memory, this device runs on Windows Mobile, uses modules to connect with GSM, CDMA and Wi-Fi networks, and can survive a 4 foot fall on concrete. This isn't the crisis in the Middle East and it really won't turn the economy around, but it does show that President Obama is a man of his convictions. Is there a phone that you feel as strongly about as our President does his BlackBerry?

Damn People, it is a phone. Not a small child or something. Yeah, accessibility and technology at the fingertips is amazing, but really? Fanaticism. I thought this guy was all about change... can't change from a Blackberry though ;)

I think it's pathetic he can't seem to live without a phone. Now I don't have a BB, but I think it's pathetic anyway.

I want an explanation as to why phonearena.com can vividly portray it's political side, but censors the rest of people that don't agree. For example, the comment as to "it does show that President Obama is a man of his convictions." If you paid any attention, Obama has already gone back on his word by not agreeing to continue to set funds aside for the new NASA program, which while he was campaining promised to fund. Conviction, sure... I hope his BB gets hacked and he suffers a great deal somehow from it.
