Opera browser for Android gets new UI, desktop site switch button, and other new features in latest
The Android version of popular web browser Opera has received a new update. The latest patch brings some neat changes, the most notable being a UI that has been redesigned to be more convenient for phones and tablets.

Also introduced is a new "Desktop mode" toggle that can be accessed via the three dots menu at the top right corner of the screen. Unsurprisingly, the toggle lets you switch to the desktop version of a given website.

Other changes include bug fixes for media notifications, sound, and video playback issues. Last but not least, the update adds login support for VKontakte, also known as the "Russian Facebook".
