Nokia N8 demos its gaming prowess

The early word surrounding the upcoming Nokia N8 may have been unfavorable seeing it's still in the early stages of development with the prototype which was recently previewed. However, we're getting a glimpse today in the kind of performance it'll offer around the 3D gaming department. In this latest video, the first game to be demonstrated is Rally Master which perfectly showcases its ability to handle even some of the most intricate 3D racing games out there. With a decent frame rate chugging along during game play, it still managed to do well with dirt and smoke effects littering the screen. On the other hand, we get treated to the N8 version of the famous Bounce game made famous by the Nokia N900. All in all, the Nokia N8 was able to show off its graphical prowess which is becoming a major driving force for a lot of handset manufacturers of late. However, we'll have to wait until a final unit is in place before giving any final judgment over its gaming abilities.
