Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 gets its first post ICS software update
Share:
Well folks, Asus is doing things right, naturally, as Asus’ first-generation Android tablet is seeing its first post Ice Cream Sandwich update. Specifically, the new update for the tablet is labeled 9.2.1.17-20123012, but there’s no changelog attached to it. Therefore, it’s anyone’s guess as to exactly what the new software update actually brings to the table. Nevertheless, it’s presumed to bring forth all the necessary tweaks and bug fixes that should iron out its kinks.
Obviously, if you haven’t seen that notification hitting your Asus Eee Pad Transformer, then you can manually check for it under the Android software update menu. This time around, let’s hope that things are smooth sailing, especially for those who have been experiencing some nasty badies with the ICS update last month.

More fodder for the Asus beta testers. Did people actually pay money for this tablet?

Yes I did, and it's been rock solid since the day I bought it, and I've receivced OS updates much earlier than those who bought into other brands have. Why do you ask?

I just installed it yesterday. I'll have to wait to see if it resolve the reboot issue. It still breaks Dolphin HD when viewing videos in full screen. I still notice that the keyboard dock seems to backspace on its own from time to time.

I've had my Transformer since November '11 and it's been running Gnufabio's Revolver rom ever since (3.2.1 Honeycomb). It was as laggy as my I9000M SGS running Froyo 16 months ago (the SGS has also been running ICS for 2 months now). Upgraded it to Revolver ICS about a week ago, and the damn thing is super fast! And nothing breaks. Thanks XDA! The only way to go if you own anything Android.
