If you're an AT&T customer, you have probably received a text message from the carrier alerting you to the 1,000 bonus Rollover minutes that AT&T has sent your way. The message assures recipients that there is no cost or obligation involved, just a "Thank you" from AT&T.

Those that received the message still need to respond to the carrier before September 7th by simply answering back, "Yes". As for the reason behind the bonus minutes, an AT&T spokesman would not immediately respond to an inquiry about the offer which apparently has been made to all of AT&T's mobile clients.

If you are an AT&T customer, let us know if you received the offer for the bonus Rollover minutes. Simply reply by typing in the comment box below.

I got the message. Not that I need rollover minutes since I have probably 5000 minutes and that's after I downgraded my minute plan a year ago and they took the majority of the ones I had built up but I accepted them anyway. The service is decent where I live and I'm enjoying my unlocked Galaxy S 2 on their network.

Wow, that is awesome - comparing it to the upcoming AT&T version, which is better to you?

Haha guess this is supposed to make up for having the worst JD power rankings of all the carriers. Its like when you cheat on your girlfriend and buy her a diamond necklace hoping itll smooth things over.

Well in this case AT&T is giving us the plastic ring out of a gum-ball machine.

I agree wih testman comment.

I also think that maybe trying to keep the customers that are so upset ( I think they exaggerate) over their choice of Galaxy SII... Now the iPhone is rumored to be on Tmob and Sprint too, not just Verizon and we haven' t heard of the Nexus Prime on AT&T........

Afraid of customers switching carriers?

I received the text and replied, I am very pleased with AT&T service and wouldnt cahnge it for any other. Sprint sucks and so does T-Moibile. Verizon is soooooo over rated,my sister and I would both speak to each other on verizon to verizon and at times our calls still dropped. To me all carrires have something good about them and something bad. Over all Sprint to me has the worst understanding language customer service, very hard to understand them. Tmobile has great customer service, I am very pleased with At&T cust service, where as Verizon has the worst as far as Attitude. They are very Rude and feel they dont need to be nice because they have millions of customers..... Thats how I feel about it. I love my Iphone and I dont care if all the carrires will now I have it, I will not be leaving At&t .... ;D

Funny.

Proof that everyone has different experiences.

I couldn't get off AT&T fast enough once they were merged with Cingular.

Bunch of a-holes when I had them, I'll never go back. I see why they are constantly ranked last by J.D. Power in customer service.

Yes i got 1000 rollovers. They are trying to play nice because the know sprint is going to get the iPhone. They did something like this last year or so when Verizon was getting the iPhone. Me and couple of my Marines got checks in the mail claiming it was for being "a valued customer". If they send me another $600 check i might stay. lol

SIKE! I'm leaving

Been with AT&T for 7yrs all i got is a 25% off coupon. and I never received my text message with free roll over minutes. It's probably only for iSheeps Iphone owners only

Yeah, no extra roll over for me either, just the 25% off. Which I suppose is better since I have so many damned roll over mins anyway.

I got some rollover minutes only 16,000 the last time I checked. I have tried to give some away to our (USA) armed forces overseas but they say no dice. So if they want to give 1000 more to my big pile of them. Please instead please give it to our men and women in the armed forces.

I think I can get by with what i got.

I didn't get it. But then we have a 700 minute Family Talk and about 450 of those left over each month. We hardly need more minutes.

Who honestly even uses cell phones to talk THAT much anymore? Sure I can understand some people talk on the phone a lot but I don't ever hear people complaining about how they never have any minutes left(unless they are prepaid and not on a plan).

i got this message like over a month ago. i don't really think it's something new they've been rolling out. and when i called, it was for being an excellent customer and because they were promoting their u-verse service. i mean, you chat with the representitive for a few minutes and you do get the rollover minutes because it showed up on my account a few days later.

I totally agree with the post from susana. I live n Vegas, and have had all four carriers, and ATT for me is by far the best. Tmobile only gives me edge data n my apt. which is rite acrss the street from a Tmobile store. Sprint 4g doesn't penetrate buildings,so it's useless inside. Verizon 3G is slow as sprints, and I dropped hella calls with them. I haven't used their LTE,and won't be,cuz it's too expensive. I also save $23 a month over sprint with ATT. Gsm networks r simply better, better tech, better battery life, better phones. ATT is the best for my money. I can't wait to add the galaxy s2,and iPhone 5 with my iPhone 4,and jus pop the sim into the phone I wanna rock that day. Let's see sprint, and Verizon do that with that pathetic outdated CDMA technology!!!!!
