The highest discount yet makes Microsoft's Surface Pro 12 a power user's low-cost dream
You don't have a lot of time to get Microsoft's latest Windows-powered tablet at an unbeatable price with 512GB storage and 16GB RAM.

Released just a few months ago with a Snapdragon X Plus processor and 12-inch touchscreen in tow, the latest addition to the Surface Pro family is clearly not Microsoft's most powerful (or largest) tablet yet.
But at a retail price of $799.99 and up, the reasonably lightweight and impressively thin Windows computing machine certainly delivers great bang for your buck, looking like an excellent alternative to Apple's 2024-released iPad Pro duo and Samsung's soon-to-be-replaced Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra.
After a $200 discount, the value proposition of the 12-inch Surface Pro (2025) becomes simply unrivaled, although there are a couple of very important things you should take into consideration before pulling the trigger at Best Buy.
The first is the fact that this deal is only set to run through the end of the day, so you might want to hurry if a $699.99 Copilot+ PC with an ultraportable design sounds like something you'd want to blow whatever's left of your summer shopping budget on.
The second key detail (which you may have already figured out) is that this is not actually an entry-level Surface Pro 12 configuration on sale for 200 bucks less than usual. Instead, that (new record high) discount is offered for a slightly higher-end variant with 512 gigs of internal storage space and 16GB RAM that normally costs $899.99.
$699.99, mind you, currently gets you just a 256GB variant of Apple's M3-powered iPad Air 11 (2025) or a Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ with the same amount of local digital hoarding room.
Both those devices are clearly inferior to the 2025 Surface Pro model heavily marked down by Best Buy today (and today only) in many key departments, starting of course with mobile productivity. And no, your 700 bucks will not be enough to buy you a stylus in addition to the 12-inch Windows powerhouse, but that RAM count, the storage, the up to 16 hours of battery life, the two USB-C ports, and yes, even the Snapdragon X Plus chip make this without a doubt one of the best tablets available right now, at least from a bang-for-your-buck standpoint.
