For a lot of mobile technology fans, the best time of the year is about to end soon, as following Samsung's new foldable and Google's Pixel 11 family launch events, Apple is planning to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Ultra in less than two weeks, finally bringing to a close a months-long period of rampant speculation and likely empty hopes of reasonable pricing.
For yours truly, however, the greatest time of the year hasn't even started yet, as it usually takes anywhere from a few weeks to a few months for such exciting new devices to become truly worth buying at substantial discounts often culminating around the holidays. But what if you (and me) don't have to wait until Thanksgiving or Christmas this year to get some of the best (new and old) phones, tablets, and smartwatches in the world at hard-to-turn-down prices?
That's right, my latest routine week-ending roundup of the top mobile tech deals around includes a bunch of decidedly non-routine bargains and steals, a few of which might never be eclipsed. No, not even on Black Friday and Cyber Monday in three months or so.
Can you snub this week's three best deals from across the web?
I don't think you can... and I don't think you should, especially if you're in the market for the world's hottest foldable device (at least until the iPhone Ultra arrives), and for some reason, you haven't taken advantage of its (expanded) launch promotion.
Apple's first foldable will almost certainly cost more than the Galaxy Z Fold 8 at its commercial debut, mind you, not to mention that it might be very hard to come by for a few months and that it's unlikely to ever ship with a freebie as incredibly valuable as a $350 Amazon gift card.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is also all but guaranteed to crush the value proposition of the fast-approaching iPhone 18 Pro Max at its latest hefty Amazon discount, while the mid-range Galaxy Tab S10 FE doesn't really have a direct Apple-made rival and will probably not get one anytime soon.
How about these other exceptional smartphone offers?
As usual, I've tried my best to collect as many options for as many different budgets and target audiences as possible for the smartphones section of my weekly deals roundup, and without false modesty, I think I've done a pretty good job of covering almost every need and price bracket under the sun.
The low-cost options are especially awesome, including an ultra-affordable Motorola and two new Galaxy A-series mid-rangers with beautiful designs (for their price points), while at the other end of the spectrum, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8 continue to stand tall at their list prices with always handy Amazon gift cards bundled in.
Between the two categories, you have a pair of surprisingly advanced 2025-released Motorola foldables at almost shockingly low prices, a unique-looking (semi) flagship from Nothing at a decent but not exactly mind-blowing discount, and a Galaxy S26 Plus that's perfect for hardcore Samsung fans and Android power users in general who can't afford the Galaxy S26 Ultra. That's an almost flawless list if you ask me.
Here are six very different but equally great tablet promotions!
Yes, the budget-friendly Lenovo Idea Tab and cutting-edge new Surface Pro 13 have extremely little in common... apart from some similarly massive discounts that almost seem impossible to beat.
The mid-range Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 Plus, Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2, and Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 and the high-end Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 are more or less in the same boat, although my recommendation for an Android tablet buyer on a relatively tight budget today would be to either wait for those Galaxy Tabs to drop further in price or opt for a new Lenovo ASAP.
My top choice is without a doubt the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 at a killer $130 discount, especially thinking back at the 13-inch giant's commercial release from... June. Yes, 2026.
These three deeply discounted smartwatches will also satisfy very distinct needs
Yes, I am once again grouping together some products that don't have much in common, although the low-cost Garmin Vivoactive 5 and way pricier Fenix 8 are equally impressive when it comes to their battery life (both on paper and out in the real world).
The Apple Watch Series 11, meanwhile, delivers... far less remarkable battery endurance numbers, but with a potentially derivative sequel around the corner, I can't help but fear last year's top non-rugged iPhone-supporting wearable will stop getting discounts soon or even disappear from the market altogether.
