After a number of leaks and with just over one week to go until its official announcement, the entire spec sheet of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A9s has leaked out.

Kicking things off with a bang, Samsung’s upcoming device will come fitted with Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 660. Just as expected, this will then be coupled with a very respectable 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card slot. Completing the internal setup will be a relatively large 3,720mAh battery and Android 8.1 Oreo straight out of the box complete with the Samsung Experience UI customizations on top.

Moving on to the external characteristics, the front panel is dominated by a 6.28-inch AMOLED Infinity Display complete with a resolution of 2200 x 1080p. This is combined with a premium all-glass construction. Over on the rear, it’s clear that the Galaxy A9s is inspired by the Galaxy A9 Star that debuted earlier this year. After all, it adopts a square-shaped fingerprint scanner and a rather odd-looking square-shaped vertical camera setup in the corner which is now home to four cameras.

Speaking of which, the main one brings a resolution of 24-megapixels and a f/1.7 aperture, alongside OIS. The second camera boasts a megapixel count of five at a f/2.2 aperture and acts as a depth sensor that is used for live focus. Similarly, another telephoto camera is included with double the resolution and twice the optical zoom length. Lastly, an 8-megapixel 120º wide-angle camera is present too. Up front, an 8-megapixel selfie sensor is also included.

The Samsung Galaxy A9s is currently set to go official on October 11 alongside the Samsung Galaxy A6s, with sales of the two presumably commencing later on this month.
