Its starting price is $349. That speaks volumes right there. Especially when need to be paired to an iPhone. Not to mention you can get a really great smart phone for under that price. Also the only way to add functionality to this watch is like all the other smart watches that are currently on the market, you need to program apps for the watch. Everyone except Android Wear, which allows you to add to existing Android phone and tablet apps. Without actually sending or creating apps for the Android Wear watches.

If they want, they can make a program to convert all the 3rd party watchkit apps and make them compatible with android versions of the ios apps(that make use of the watch)....it's not happening but that would have made me get one as soon as it released.

Whoa, hold on there pal! What speaks volumes? Isn't the moto 360 priced at $250. AFAIK apple products command a premium and that's for a reason - the reason we customers line up weeks before launch. I think at launch apple watch has pretty sleek line up of apps made exclusively for it and it supports 3rd party development. Make a fact based comparison pal, not some fan boy argument.

And Tim Cook is changing things one at a time. Did you just notice two new products he launched was without any 'i' prefixed to their names.

For the price difference and late release, it better, haha. And for Apple to have a device comparable to an ugly Samsung watch is pretty funny.

It doesn't have battery or inbuilt storage. The battery uses solar power and you can store data on any cloud :p

I think Samsung should sue Apple now for copying their watch.
