User Reviews
This is a great budget smartphone from LG. Although Apple sells the iPhone 3G for the same price, this is still a better option. They do use relatively old firmware, as the LG Ally cannot take the Android 2.3 update.
- Great screen
- Android 2.2.2
- 2GB microSD card included
- Pattern unlock option
- Only 100mb of app storage
- "480p Video" is not 480p at all!
- Short battery life
Phone is good for Android's oldest games, and it has a full on keyboard, and it has a camera flash, but it is suuuuuper slow. The 2.2 update made it super slow, just like with the S3's 4.4 update. Good for old games but not for full on internet. You can install Opera Mini but you can only install the 2015 version.
- Old version of Android
- QWERTY Keyboard
- Requires microSD
- Very Slow
Would love to see this phone be brought back with modern specs. This was my phone from HS through the first half of college. The keyboard was awesome to type on. No touchscreen will ever beat physical keys.
- KEYBOARD
- Cases were multiple pieces due to sliding form factor
