Verizon sends out the official OS 5.0.0.732 update for the BlackBerry Bold 9650

Newly crowned BlackBerry Tour 9650 owners are already getting an update so soon after being officially released to the masses. The latest update brings the handset to OS 5.0.0.732 and should be available through the usual over-the-air process and via BlackBerry Desktop Manager, however, Verizon has yet to officially post the download directly on their site. From the looks of it, the update will turn on push-to-talk for the handset and most likely fix issues with the platform's notification system. Always as a word of caution, it'd be a good idea to backup your data prior to installing the update. Once you've got everything situated in place, you can start to take advantage of being kept in the loop with push-to-talk.
