This has already been done in a smaller fashion. Although this newer device will have more capabilities, it's still a recreation. Which is all right by me. Android with an actual razor FTW!!

Just wonder whose network it would run on plz don't assume verizon b/c ATT got the ipad b/c their are droids phones for ATT also, so calm down all verizon fans

Specs listed over at engadget tend to point towards it going to someone like AT&T. Which for me is unfortunate since I am on the Verizon network. Maybe they will come out with a CDMA version too?

There's android phones for all networks... Possibly they'll be smart and not do an exclusivity contract like Blackberry does. It seems to work fine for them.

I think its on NOW, I got a Macbook and a Iphone, but that Ipad is a shitty product. It would be amazing if it could process like a laptop, have some type of innovative typing, be able to write on it like it was a notepad or notebook(think of the college students and professionals). A keyboard should be attached on the back so typing could be easy. I wish I was a designer and engineer. They made the Ipad shitty because they wanted to make massive amount of money from it. IF you look at articles, people are estimating that Apple makes hundreds of millions just off the first year. They wanted to reduce the cost. SO guess what, its a big iphone.

Is this a serious title?? Any device made after 2006 is a freakin iPad killer. That includes laptops, netbooks, smartphones, and hell even the iPod Touch.

What... no ambiguous release date? How about "between the 2nd half of 2010 and the third quarter of 2011". By then, there'll be 200 other items out, better than this.

To be honest it looks gooa dn it will blow the socks off the iPad for what it can do and it also has USB port and a 12mp Camera on board let's not forget the HDMI output and over 16days stand by as well... Although all this i am still waiting for the Microsoft Courier, now that device looks too sexy to miss out on and the technology make me forget that Microsoft are actually making this product... Check it out and let me know what you think?

iPad killer: iPhone. Smaller, lighter, cheaper, phone. Granted you dont want your ebooks, iPad sucks.
