The GIGABYTE GSmart Codfish G1305 in front of the cameras
Just a week ago we told you about two unannounced models by GIGABYTE that had been spotted in Ukraine. The guys over at PointGPhone have somehow managed to get their hands on one of these two, the GIGABYTE Codfish G1305 and published information about the device, along with several good-quality pictures. It seems the handset will be running Android 1.6 and personalized interface. Allegedly, the build quality is very good and the 3.2-inch screen is extremely sensitive. The GIGABYTE Codfish G1305 looks pretty cool (with its green elements) and will come with 5-megapixel camera, 600MHz Qualcomm processor and 256MB RAM. Well, there is nothing impressive about the mentioned specifications really, although if the personalized interface is well made, the device may prove to be a decent first attempt at an Android-based handset. Or at least we believe the Codfish will be GIGABYTE´s first device running Android, because the manufacturer have denied all rumors about its affordable handset running said operating system.
