Testers for BlackBerry Skyfire browser get new beta version
Share:
Some of the features added include a "Switch to Skyfire" option in the menu of the BlackBerry browser. Zooming is easier as text displays at all zoom levels and there is no need to re-draw the page. And text can be entered directly into the thumbnail view, so there is no need to zoom-in to enter text. Of course, there are some bugs like the inability to control volume while a video is streaming, and sometimes stale tiles from previously viewed sites will appear. These are just a few of the problems cited, the list of bugs is small nonetheless.
Once the final build of the Skyfire browser is made available to all BlackBerry users, it could make some RIM devices more competitive with other smartphones that are currently using head of the class mobile browsers like Safari and Opera Mobile 9.5.

They do have one for symbian, but it is for hardware keyboards. Their current symbian version does not support touchscreen phones.
