Opera removes bugs for Android version of Mini 4.2
Out of beta and now in final release, the Opera Mini 4.2 browser is ready for the Android platform. With improvements made and bugs exterminated, the browser now allows Android users to save Web pages on an SD card as well as accessing a card for uploading and down loading. Web pages will now zoom in/zoom out with a double tap. Instead of using a native text box, the changes now allow for URL entry to be made inline. And the best part is that this is all a free download for Android users. Has anyone loaded Opera Mini 4.2 onto their T-Mobile G1 phone?

Loads pages faster, but is inferior to native browser in all other areas.

I don't really understand why Opera would port Opera Mini to the Android platform and not their more powerful Opera Mobile. A web-centric device such as the G1 certainly has enough horsepower to handle the more sophisticated application.

Not even worth the download. Get the Steel Browser its just as good if not better than the stock browser.
