Nokia N900 says hello to Mac OS X 10.3
This isn’t going to be the last time we see something like this happen on the Nokia N900, but it certainly goes to show what unlimited possibilities that this handset packs. We’ve seen different games ported over and even watched as it is able to dual boot both Android and Maemo – there’s just a lot that it can do. Now the latest platform to make its way onto the N900 is none other than the full fledged Mac OS X 10.3. Toni Nikkanen of Finland became the first person to get OS X on a phone – although there are still some performance issues that hinder it from being usable. It’s made possible thanks partly to PearPC which is a PowerPC emulator needed to get OS X 10.3 on the device. If you can overlook the sluggish nature of the platform running on the phone, then can give yourself a shot at checking it out.
