Microsoft reveals details about the MIX10 sessions
When Microsoft finally unveiled its long-expected Windows Phone 7 Series OS at this year’s MWC, we found ourselves really into the idea of that very clean new platform (with hubs and stuff) that had nothing to do with what Windows Mobile was (and still is). However, despite that a lot of questions remained unanswered. One such question, and maybe the most important one, was about the third-party software that was going to be available for WP7S. We knew these details will be unearthed at MIX10, and now are happy to see that Microsoft has posted the various topics that will be covered at the event.

By the looks of it, a large chunk of time will be devoted to game developers and the new techniques for developing entertainment software for Windows Phone 7 Series. After the first, introductory session, there will be quite a few sessions that will be strictly devoted to building Windows Phone games and apps, including some insights on high-performance 3D game writing. It seems like Microsoft will be counting on its Silverlight and XNA frameworks for the purpose.

In addition, devs will be acquainted with the techniques to design rich websites for WP7S, as well as a thorough look at the user interface design language of the OS. Finally, software developers will learn how to distribute and monetize their products.

That was a brief overview of what the MIX10 sessions will include. For a more detailed information, check out the source.
